1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Nexus Gather LLC, which operates MasjidNow and AdhanNow (“MasjidNow” or “we”). By using the MasjidNow app or the masjidnow.org website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What MasjidNow is
MasjidNow is an app that shows prayer, iqama, Jummah, event and donation information published by masjids. The website at masjidnow.org describes the app. You cannot buy, subscribe or donate on the website. Those actions happen inside the app.
3. Your account
You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
4. Prayer times are not guaranteed
Iqama, Jummah and event times are entered by each masjid, and adhan times can be calculated. Times can be wrong, late or changed without notice. Always confirm with your masjid, and follow the imam and the instructions at the masjid. MasjidNow is not responsible for a missed or delayed prayer.
5. Masjid content and responsibility
Masjids and their administrators are responsible for the times, announcements, events, services and fundraising appeals they publish, and for having the authority to publish them. MasjidNow does not review or endorse that content. Report content you think is wrong or harmful to support@masjidnow.org.
6. Masjid subscriptions
A masjid can choose a free plan or a Premium plan inside the app. Premium costs $49.99 per month, or $37.49 per month billed yearly. A 30-day free trial applies to a masjid’s first Premium subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time in the app or through the payment method used to subscribe. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Prices may change, and we will tell subscribers before a new price applies to them.
7. Donations
A donation is a gift from you to a masjid. MasjidNow is not the charity and does not receive the gift. Stripe processes the payment and pays the masjid. MasjidNow takes no cut of donations, and Stripe’s processing fees apply. The masjid decides how to use the gift. See the donations and refunds page for how receipts and refunds work.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not break the law or use MasjidNow to harass or defraud anyone.
- Do not post false information about a masjid or impersonate its administrators.
- Do not try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours.
- Do not scrape, overload or reverse engineer the service.
9. Our property
The MasjidNow name, logo, app and website belong to us or our licensors. You may use them to use the service as intended. Content that a masjid publishes remains the masjid’s, and the masjid gives us permission to display it in the app.
10. Disclaimers
MasjidNow is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be error free, always available or fit for a particular purpose.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, MasjidNow is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using MasjidNow and delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or put the service or others at risk.
13. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use MasjidNow after an update means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of the state where Nexus Gather LLC is organized, and disputes will be handled in the courts there, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
