How a masjid can publish its iqama timetable

A short guide for the board member or volunteer who keeps the masjid schedule: what to gather, what to enter, and what the free plan covers.

This guide is for the person who keeps the masjid's schedule, whether that is a board member, the imam's assistant or a volunteer. The free plan covers your masjid listing, your iqama times and your Jummah times. That is enough for worshippers nearby to see the right times on their phones.

Gather this first

  • The masjid's name, address and a contact number or email.
  • Today's iqama time for each of the five prayers, and how they change through the year.
  • Your Jummah schedule, including a second khutbah if you hold one.
  • The name of the person the board has approved to publish changes.

Steps in the app

  1. Install MasjidNow and sign in with the email you want tied to the masjid.
  2. Add your masjid inside the app, or ask for access to its listing if it already appears. If you get stuck, email support@masjidnow.org and we will help.
  3. Fill in Masjid Information: name, address and contact details.
  4. Enter your iqama times in Prayer Settings.
  5. Add your Jummah times.
  6. Open Tools and Exports to print the monthly timetable and the masjid's QR code. Put the QR code on the door so newcomers can follow the masjid from their phones.

Keep it current

Worshippers trust the times only as long as they are right. Pick one person to update them when the season shifts, when daylight saving starts or ends, and before Ramadan. A change you make shows up for everyone who follows your masjid.

When Premium makes sense

Premium adds events with RSVP, donations, news, a services directory and a contact inbox. It costs $49.99 a month, or $37.49 a month billed yearly, with a 30-day free trial and cancellation any time. You subscribe inside the app, not on this website. If all you need is times, the free plan is enough and stays free.
